The postdoctoral fellow will perform original research towards advancing our understanding how carbon-climate relationships on interannual timescales differ among tropical continents, and what are the implications for long0term changes in the terrestrial biosphere carbon cycle with climate change. This work will rely primarily on the Community Earth System Model and the Community Land Model (CLM). This work is part of a NASA collaborative project that involves scientists at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and is related to other ongoing projects across the Terrestrial Sciences Section. As such, the Postdoc Fellow will have ample opportunities to interact with interdisciplinary scientists within and outside NCAR.
