Open Forum Discussion

The Developmental Testbed Center (DTC) provides an opportunity for researchers pursuing research related to Numerical Weather Prediction and/or advanced verification techniques to collaborate with us and/or one of our operational partners through our visitor program.  We invite proposals for a research project in line with our goals that have the potential to impact operational forecast systems or provide tools to the community (see our Announcement of Opportunity for specific details).  Two types of opportunities are possible: one where the PI performs the research and visits us for up to two months (possibly spanning two or three trips), and one where the PI supervises a graduate student visitor who can visit us for up to one year with the PI visiting for a shorter period.
