You control the emails you get from the UCAR Commons! The default settings for the Weekly Digest is Wednesday mornings for the Opportunities, News, and Open Discussion communities. Special Interest Groups like ESPAT and For Students default to emails sent the day after a post in a community, but you can change that!
To manage your notification emails:
1. Go to commons.ucar.edu
2. Click on Login
3. Once you are logged in, click on the profile picture circle on the top right of the screen
4. Click on Profile
5. Click on My Account
6. Click on Community Notifications
7. You will see a list with all of your communities.
If you want to receive an email as soon as someone posts in a community, change the Discussion Email setting to Real Time.
If you want to receive an email the day after a post is made, change the Discussion Email setting to Daily Digest.
If you want to have all your community emails to be combined into one daily digest email, on the right side, click the box under Consolidated Daily Digest.
If you want everything combined into one weekly email, click on the boxes In Consolidated Weekly Digest.
You can also use the different settings for different communities as I have them below.
