The Summer 2024 Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) tutorial will be held VIRTUALLY July 15-19. There will be no in-person component for this tutorial session (the Winter 2025 session will be held in-person).
The tutorial will consist of lectures on components of the WRF modeling system, along with hands-on practice sessions.
NOTES:
To access the tutorial practices, attendees MUST have access to a computer that includes a terminal environment that supports shell commands such as 'ssh' (to access a remote computer), and X11 server (for display). It is the attendee's responsibility to ensure this is set up prior to attending. WRF instructors are not able to help with this.
Attendees will be required to use some basic Unix commands to work through exercises.
