Emily Eddins Rountree, PhD built a career in community engagement and service learning at University of Kansas (KU) and Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, where she received several major grants to develop community engagement projects that address sea level rise, climate change, and conservation, including the ARISE EPSCoR project at KU and with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and Virginia Sea Grant at ODU. Dr. Rountree received her PhD and MS in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources from Colorado State University.
