As a follow up to yesterday's breakout session,
Bringing the Experts to the World through Streaming Documentaries, led by John Ristvey and Katie Wolfson (ETC/SciEd), Dan Zietlow (EdEC), and me (Liz Page, ETC/COMET), we are sharing the introductory presentation (

bit.ly/UCARbrainstorm) used for brainstorming during the session. For those of you unable to attend this session, we invite you to join this discussion.
We would like to build an affinity group of scientific and education experts from the university community, NCAR, and UCP interested in collaborating to develop documentaries to help educate the public on Earth System Science research topics. This idea is in the beginning stages and we would like to engage with those of you interested in contributing your research topics and expertise through exciting media platforms with the potential to communicate your work to large audiences.
