The STORM REU provides undergraduate students the opportunity to gain research experience in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (AOS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Although spearheaded by AOS, the program consists of mentors across multiple additional institutes and centers within the Atmospheric Oceanic and Space Sciences (AOSS) building including the Center for Climatic Research (CCR), the Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC), and the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS).
