DAGS - Visiting Assistant Professor
The Department of Atmospheric and Geological Sciences (DAGS), within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oswego invites applications for a visiting assistant professor. This one-year position is full-time, academic year (10 month), beginning August 15, 2022. The successful candidate will teach up to four courses (12 contact hours) per semester. These courses will be within the Atmospheric and Geological Sciences Department with a focus on Synoptic and general education meteorology courses.
Initial responsibilities include teaching courses such as:
- MET 100 Meteorology
- MET 215 Global Weather & Climate Catastrophes
- MET 301 & 302 Synoptic Meteorology I lecture and lab (Fall 2022)
- MET 303 & 304 Synoptic Meteorology II lecture and lab (Spring 2023)
Qualifications
M.S or Ph.D. in Meteorology/Atmospheric Sciences.
