Do you have expertise in ocean or freshwater sciences?
The National Ocean Sciences Bowl® (NOSB), a program of the Center for Ocean Leadership at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, is a nationwide high school competition that challenges students on their knowledge of ocean and freshwater sciences while building leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. For the 2026 competitions, we're asking for support from the ocean science community to volunteer as question writers. We're looking for contributors with expertise in biology, chemistry, physics, geology, technology, geography, social science, or marine policy to submit multiple-choice, short-answer, and Team Challenge Questions.
This is a great way to contribute your scientific expertise to education and outreach efforts!
