    Why use UXarray?

UXarray is a Python package written around the UGRID conventions extending Xarray for unstructured grid-based climate and global weather data analysis and visualization. If you need to visualize outputs coming from one of the unstructured grid models such as MPAS, CAM-SE, ICON, ESMF, GEOS, HEALPix, etc., we got your back with UXarray's plotting functionality for both static, publication-quality plotting and dynamic, interactive plotting purposes!

    Start using UXarray

UXarray's homepage provides a lot of great resources about the tool overall, but the Plotting User Guide could be the shortest path for getting to learn and utilize UXarray's visualization capabilities after a quick look at the Quick Start guide. In addition, UXarray provides a Gallery of real-world workflows and created an Unstructured Grids Visualization Cookbook that provides comprehensive chapters such as "Plotting with UXarray" and "Visualization Recipes" for users from any knowledge level. For technical support, please see our GitHub repository issues and create a new one for any requests.
