There are 2 exciting webinars coming up soon, run by the AGU Atmospheric Science Section Early Career Committee:
1) "How to Write a Successful Proposal" on Aug. 8 at 1 PM ET: Writing a successful proposal is an important skill for early career scientists. While exact requirements may differ between funding agencies, communicating the purpose and scope of the proposed research is incredibly important. In this webinar, panelists with a history of successful proposal applications will answer audience questions about their experiences with proposal writing. This webinar will be helpful for proposal writing at any career stage (e.g., NSF GRFP, postdoctoral award proposals, early-career faculty awards, etc...).
2) "Investigations in Climate Extremes: Impacts and Relationships with Earth's Ecosystems" on Aug. 13 at 11 AM ET: Two invited early career speakers will give ~12-minute presentations, with time for Q&A afterward:
This session will be moderated by Chengfei He from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Come join the discussion on the impacts of climate extremes on society and ecosystems!
After registering for these webinars, you will receive an email confirmation with the Zoom link.
