The UCAR Commons was launched in April, 2022 to be a catalyst for UCAR university members to connect with each other and with UCAR, NCAR, and UCP. There are over 1,300 Earth system science professionals in the Commons.
We invite you to take advantage of this important member benefit!
- Share jobs, internships, and fellowship opportunities by posting a message in the Opportunities Community
- Ask a question or start a conversation by posting in the Open Forum Discussion Community
- Fill out your profile to make connections with people with similar interests
- Anyone at a member university, including students, with a university email, can participate in the Commons, so feel free to invite them to sign up.
To post to the UCAR Commons:
- go to commons.ucar.edu
- click on "Sign In" in the top right corner of the screen
- enter your email and password (Click on "Set up/Forgot Your Password" if needed)
- Once you are in, click on "Communities," "My Communities"
- Click on "Opportunities" to post an opportunity, or "Open Forum Discussions" to start a discussion
- Click on the blue "Add" button next to the "Latest Discussions" header
Once staff has approved the post, it will show up on the website, and it will be included in the email daily digest the next morning.
