  • 1.  Assistance Needed Obtaining Article from Monthly Weather Review

    Hi All.

    Does anyone have access to physical copies of past issues of the AMS publication Monthly Weather Review in their facility library?

    The article I am looking for is incomplete in the AMS journals online feature and the AMS has been less than helpful in securing a complete copy.

    "Early Records of Tropical Hurricanes on the Texas Coast in the Vicinity of Galveston"

    Pages 454-457 inclusive (AMS journals online only scanned the first page)

    One of my doctoral students is researching impacts of early Texas tropical cyclones on shipping and this article would be of great use as it discusses a hurricane which struck Galveston in the early 19th century.
