COMET recently published these new lessons and modules:

Using Satellite Imagery to Identify Cold-Core Upper-Air Lows in the Tropical Pacific on MetEd. This brief lesson focuses on detecting and monitoring cold-core upper-air low-pressure systems over the tropical Pacific region using satellite imagery.

An Introduction to Groundwater Level Monitoring for International Island and Coastal Communities to MetEd. This module was developed in partnership with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and is an adaptation of the "Groundwater Basics: Routine Site Visits" and "Groundwater Basics: Troubleshooting Erroneous Data" lessons designed for the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

Satellite and Stability Analyses for Deep Convection Forecasting in the Tropics on MetEd. This lesson explores what NWP products are specifically designed for profound convection intensity potential in the Tropics. Using satellite analysis, users compare those NWP outputs to what is already understood from satellite imagery.
