We are seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Atmospheric Observations at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez as part of the RAICES (Resilience and ActIon–Climate Research and its Effects on Society) Initiative, a collaboration between UPRM and NSF NCAR.
The position focuses on observational research into afternoon convection over western Puerto Rico, including radiosonde field campaigns, atmospheric data analysis, and collaboration with UPRM, NSF NCAR, and the National Weather Service. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career scientists interested in mesoscale meteorology, tropical weather, and field observations.
