The US CLIVAR Micro2Macro: Origins of Climate Change Uncertainty workshop will take place October 28-30, 2024, at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming, and virtually. The workshop will identify key structural model differences that cause cascading uncertainties, evaluate the scale mismatch between in-situ observations and remotely sensed properties, quantify the effect of microphysical process uncertainty on climate projection uncertainty, and investigate connections between modeling and observations of aerosols, clouds, and precipitation across the globe. Abstract submission and registration to open in May.
