NCAR was able to send five NCAR scientists to COP27 during the first week of the two-week Conference. Participants included: Peter Lawrence, CGD, Mari Tye, CGD, Amy DeCastro, RAL, Soudeh Kamali, ASP, and Alexandra Ramos Valle, MMM. The panelists will present their perceptions of various aspects of the COP. This will include where the COP ends up in terms of mitigation and adaptation, as well as the important topic of loss and damage. They will also share their thoughts on how NCAR can become more engaged in future COPs. The panel will be moderated by Linda Mearns, RAL, and UCAR Point of Contact for the COPs.
