The guide provides tangible action steps that meeting organizers, funders, and participants can take to make scientific meetings more diverse, equitable, inclusive, just, and accessible.

Recommendations in the guide are based on peer-reviewed research and input of authors representing several organizations, including 500 Women Scientists, Earth Science Women's Network, Aspen Global Change Institute, Pal(a)eoPERCS, NCAR, LiKEN, and MPOWIR.
