    Unifying Innovations in Forecasting Capabilities Workshop 2026; 

    Monday, July 20, 2026 – Friday, July 24, 2026

    NOAA's Earth Prediction Innovation Center (EPIC) is offering a limited number of travel grants for students and early career scientists to attend the Unifying Innovations in Forecasting Capabilities Workshop 2026. This workshop is a great opportunity to gain conference experience, learn about NOAA's forecasting capabilities and processes, and share UFS modeling research. The theme for this year's workshop is a New Frontier: Optimizing New Technology in a Changing Weather Enterprise.

    The travel grant provides funds to cover transportation to and from the workshop, hotel accommodations, and meals.
